Introducing The Patio

An Outdoor Living Showroom

Just outside Pinehurst, in the heart of West End, NC, something new is coming to life - a space designed not just to be seen, but to be experienced.
As Landscape Design Innovation Group (LDIG) celebrates 10 years in business, we’re proud to unveil The Patio. A first-of-its-kind outdoor living showcase that captures everything we design and everything we build.

A Space That Tells a Story
Spanning over 30,000 square feet, more than half an acre, The Patio is a fully immersive display of what outdoor living can truly be. It’s a space designed to spark ideas, showcase craftsmanship, and get people talking. This is where clients, designers, and our community can touch, feel, and enjoy every aspect of a professionally built outdoor living. Walk the pavers. Hear the water trickle. Smell the wood burning in the fireplace. This is Outdoor Living, Made Possible.

From the ground up, the craftsmanship speaks for itself. Three retaining wall systems, including dry-stacked natural stone, NC-made stone veneer, and Segmental Retaining Walls work together to support multi-tiered patios and frame the space with structure and style. These walls don’t just hold up the yard, they elevate it.

Design With Depth
The Patio brings multiple outdoor living zones together in one cohesive environment. A north-facing raised firepit patio creates a cozy, tucked-away conversation space, while the southern lower patio spotlights a custom water feature for calming ambiance.
Just steps away is the main patio  - a mix of Marmiro Travertine Pavers, Natural Stone and Nicolock Pavers.  Anchored by a custom 20x26 in-ground vinyl liner pool. From deck jets to water bowls, a tanning ledge, LED lighting, and full Hayward automation, it’s designed to impress and it’s built for longevity.

Cook. Gather. Live.
A timber-framed pavilion and pergola set the stage for a fully equipped outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, flat top, pizza oven, and more. It’s a space that invites everyday use and weekend entertainment, brought to life with a bold wood-burning fireplace that makes the area functional year-round.

More Than a Display — A Local Destination
We didn’t build The Patio to be static - we built it to engage the community. From vendor showcases and private walkthroughs to public events and hands-on workshops, this space will serve as an active hub for outdoor living education and inspiration.
Just Think:
• “Yoga on The Lawn”
• Movie nights at ‘The Patio’
• Easter egg hunts, fall pop-ups, and grilling demos
• Workshops on hardscape care, cooking techniques, and outdoor lifestyle tips
We’ll use the space not only to show what’s possible, but to teach people how to make the most of it.

Built with Purpose. Backed by Vision.
At LDIG, our mission is simple: Make Outdoor Living Possible. It’s not just a tagline, it’s how we work, how we build, and how we help people reimagine what their property can become.
The Patio is a physical expression of that mission - designed for engagement, built to perform, and ready to showcase everything we’re about.

This is more than a display. It’s the future of how we show, sell, and live the LDIG standard.

Welcome to The Patio. We’ll see you out here.

A Space Built to Be Experienced Located just outside Pinehurst in the heart of West End, The Patio was designed not to be looked at, but to be lived in. It is a true showcase of what LDIG does best: blending craftsmanship, creativity, and quality to help homeowners reimagine their outdoor spaces. “We wanted to create something people could walk through, touch, and feel, not just see on a screen,” said JT Youmans, Director of Operations & Client Success at LDIG. “The Patio lets you experience materials, sounds, and textures firsthand. It’s a space built to start conversations and spark ideas.” Every square foot of The Patio was designed to show what’s possible. Visitors can explore multiple hardscape systems and learn the advantages and applications of materials such as travertine, natural stone, and pavers. Several retaining wall systems, including dry-stacked natural stone, stone veneer, and segmental retaining walls, demonstrate how elevation changes can shape a space, adding depth, character, and intimacy to outdoor design. Design With Depth and Purpose At the heart of The Patio is a custom in-ground vinyl liner pool featuring a tanning ledge, LED lighting, laminar jets, shears, water bowls, and fire features. The entire system is powered by custom automation that gives homeowners complete control and ease of use. Surrounding it are functional living spaces that bring every element of outdoor design together, including fire features, gathering areas and landscaping that show how form and function can work in harmony. A timber-framed pavilion anchors the space and features a complete outdoor kitchen with a grill, griddle, pizza oven, and smoker. Just beyond the kitchen, a custom fireplace creates a natural gathering point, extending the warmth and character of the space. An attached pergola covers the adjoining outdoor living room, tying everything together into one inviting environment designed for cooking, relaxing, and making memories year-round. “We did not build The Patio just to show off materials,” said Jeremy Rust, Owner of LDIG . “This is a place for people to learn, connect, and see what real outdoor living can look like in their own backyard.” More Than a Display, a Destination LDIG also developed The Lawn , a dedicated turf area built for community gatherings and seasonal events. The space will host movie nights, pop-up markets, concerts, Easter egg hunts, chili cook-offs, and other activities designed to bring people together. These events go beyond marketing. They reflect LDIG’s commitment to being deeply connected to the community and a genuine desire to support local growth and unity. It is also about making outdoor living accessible, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone in Moore County. Why The Patio Matters This is the only outdoor living display of its kind in Moore County. Whether you are planning a new pool, patio, or complete backyard renovation, you owe it to yourself to visit The Patio and see what LDIG can do to bring your vision to life. “ We are not just building patios and pools,” added Rust. “We are helping people rethink how they live outside. The Patio is our vision brought to life, and now it is open for everyone to experience.” About LDIG Landscape Design Innovation Group (LDIG) is a full-service design-build firm based in West End, North Carolina.
